We had a blast with the 3rd grade Energy Champions at Wanke Elementary this week! Ben talked with the kids about which things in their home use electricity and some simple stuff they can do to help their parents save money. They had some great suggestions – and some said they’d even read a book instead of playing video games! I’m always amazed that the kids bring up renewable energy sources, like solar energy, at this age. That’s great to see they’re being taught well!
