As everyone continues to do their part to help limit the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to fill you on what we’re doing here at Champion Home Services to keep both homeowners and our employees as safe as possible. Considering our technicians have to actually visit a home and make contact with homeowners to fix problems or complete service requests, we are immediately implementing the following policies:
- Technician calls will be limited to repairs of units that are not cooling or heating
Limiting the number of homeowners our technicians come into contact with (and vice versa) is the role we can play in helping “flatten the curve” of risk, exposure and spreading of the virus.
In addition, the Champion Home Services headquarters will undergo a deep cleaning, and all non-essential personnel will work from home for the time being. Our employees are also following all recommendations from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and local/state/federal governments:
- Staying home if they’re not feeling well
- Frequently and thoroughly washing hands for 20 seconds
- Avoiding touching of the face with unwashed hands
- Limiting physical contact as much as possible
Here at Champion Home Services, we’re committed to serving and protecting our customers and employees. For those of you who had a scheduled tune-up or other maintenance call coming up, please know we will be in contact to reschedule. Also, please know we are here for you if your AC system stops working. We will take every precaution necessary to get the job done in a safe and responsible manner – for everyone involved.
